Training session with Radiesse for temporal hollows. In view of very recent problem which was alerted to all practitioners, it was found that in very rare incidences this treatment can cause blindness.( Using any filler ). For obvious safety reasons this training was aborted and we will not be offering this treatment at Oxford Facial Aesthetics Clinic. Patient safety is paramount.
My thanks to Julie and Fiona from Merz who arranged this session and my models who had expected to have their temporal hollows filled but in the end had vectoring instead.

This conference was all about JuvedermUltra fillers,especially Voluma. Mauricio De Maio MD ScM phD plastic surgeon from Brazil was demonstrating his techniques for volumising the face. It also included Allergan's( manufacturer of Botox and JuvedermUltra) specifications of why this is now the market leader in fillers.
Information such as 25years in manufacturing, 1,800 patients involved in clinical trials, 13 million treatments worldwide, £102 million pound investment during 2006 - 2011. Botox used in 65 worldwide countries.
